1966 Ford Mustang

An outstanding classic Mustang throughout. Handsomely finished in factory-specified Emberglo paint and optional “Pony" Emberglo and Parchment upholstery matching the original paint and trim codes. Built at Dearborn in March 1966 and sold new through the Memphis, Tennessee D.S.O., this original C-Code 289 CI Mustang features an upgraded 4-barrel intake and carburetor and C4 3-speed automatic transmission. Features include A/C w/ factory-type compressor and under-dash register, a modern, 1960s-appearing AM/FM radio with AUX function, courtesy lights, power drum brakes with a modern dual-circuit master cylinder, power steering, an updated Metric speedometer, and modern LED headlamps. Other highlights include a textured vinyl roof covering, chrome rear luggage rack, and custom floor console, plus ‘GT’ equipment including twin fog lamps, dual chrome mirrors, Rally-Pac tachometer & clock, and dual exhaust with “trumpet" tips through the rear valance panel. The 289 CI engine and engine compartment are very well finished and detailed with the correct colors, finishes, decals, and factory-type emblems. An aluminum radiator ensures cool running. The trunk is properly equipped with a factory-style plaid mat, mounted spare, and roadside jack. The body, paint, chrome, and interior are all in excellent condition and the paint shows just a few touch-ups. The sound and solid undercoated chassis is properly equipped with OEM suspension components and in clean, well-maintained condition.
