1933 Ford Custom 5-Window Coupe

Featuring an OEM Ford steel body with steel fenders, this iconic 1933 Ford 5-Window Coupe continues to benefit handsomely from an exacting build completed to exceptional detail and quality standards during the late 1980s/early 1990s. Based on a T.C.I. chassis and featuring a menacing stance, the Coupe’s underpinnings include a dropped Magnum I-beam front axle, rear 4-link setup, and front disc rear drum brakes. Carrying a low profile, the Coupe’s body is essentially stock but features a 3-inch chopped roof and high-quality deep Green paint finish with purple and grey flames to the front fenders and hood. Other custom body touches include a third brake light and frenched ’39 Ford tail lights. OEM items include the Ford-scripted chrome headlight shells and glass lenses, plus the sculpted chrome radiator surround, protected by an aftermarket bug screen.

Trimmed in Tan imitation leather with square-weave cloth inserts and Beige carpeting, the full-custom interior features 1992 Oldsmobile bucket seats and 1970s Mercury Cougar dash inserts, instruments, and tilt steering column. Additional highlights include aluminum scuff plates, Vintage Air feeding a Lincoln Mark IV under-dash register, and a Pioneer SuperTuner AM/FM cassette stereo. A Cobra CB radio helps keep Smokey at bay. Staying true to its heritage, the Coupe is powered by a rebuilt 351 CI Ford V-8 engine, fully dressed and built to a conservative and reliable 320 horsepower tune with a 0.030” bore and forged aluminum pistons, plus a Comp cam, Trick Flow alloy heads, Weiand intake manifold, Edelbrock 600-cfm carburetor, and full-length dual exhaust system. Supporting items include a Walker radiator with Evans waterless coolant, SPAL electric fan, and Street & Performance accessory drive. A column-shifted 3-speed automatic transmission sends the power to a Ford 9-inch rear axle for effortless cruising, enhanced by power brakes and power windows. Clean and well-maintained throughout, the Coupe’s body and chassis are solid, sound, and rust-free throughout.

Billet Specialties wheels mounting BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires (measuring P185/65R15 front and P255/70R15 rear) provide ample road contact. A 2002-issued NSRA (National Street Rod Association) safety inspection sticker remains affixed to the lower windshield. Files accompanying the Coupe contain a wealth of parts receipts, technical information, and operating instructions.
